  1. Playboy's 1999 Playmate Calendar

  4. These are general instructions for how to install and use this CD.

  7. GETTING STARTED
  8.  
  9. Windows 95, 98, and NT users
  10. If you have QuickTime 3.0 installed on your machine, the 1999 Playmate Calendar
  11. program will begin running when the CD is inserted.
  12.  
  13. If the CD was already in the drive when you started the computer, open the 
  14. "My Computer" icon on your desktop and double click on the Playboy Bunny 
  15. Icon representing the CD-ROM drive.  This will start the 1999 Playmate Calendar 
  16. software.

  18. If you do not already have QuickTime 3.0 installed on your machine, the 
  19. installer will install QuickTime 3.0.  Follow the prompts of the installer
  20. and allow the installer to complete.  
  21.  
  22. When QuickTime 3.0 is installed,  open the "My Computer" icon on your 
  23. desktop and double click on the Playboy Bunny Icon representing the CD-ROM 
  24. drive. This will start Playboy's 1999 Playmate Calendar.

  27. Windows 3.x Users
  28. If you have QuickTime 2.0 already installed on your machine, from the file
  29. manager, double click on the file name PB31.EXE located on this CD to run 
  30. Playboy's 1999 Playmate Calendar.

  32. If you do not have QuickTime 2.0, double click QTEASY16.EXE to install
  33. QuickTime on your computer.  After it is installed, double click on PB31.EXE
  34. to run Playboy's 1999 Playmate Calendar.

  37. Macintosh Users
  38. After inserting the CD, the Playboy icon should appear on your desktop.
  39. Double click this icon to begin Playboy's 1999 Playmate Calendar.

  42. USING THE CD

  44. From the Main Screen
  45. There are three sections you can view: Photo Gallery, Slide Show, and
  46. Screening Room.  To enter any one of these sections, click on the icon
  47. to the left of the section.

  49. Click on the Playboy Bunny in the lower left corner to exit the program.
  50.  
  51. In the Photo Gallery
  52. To scroll through the photos, use the up and down arrows on the scroll
  53. bar to the left.  As you move further down, the scroll bar will display
  54. more yellow dots.  When the scroll bar is completely full of dots, you
  55. are at the bottom of the list.

  57. To zoom in on the images in the gallery, simply click on the thumbnail
  58. image.

  60. When you are ready to leave this section, click on the Playboy Bunny icon
  61. in the lower left corner.

  63. In the Slide Show
  64. The slide show is designed to allow you to view all of the images in
  65. the photo gallery without interacting with your computer.  To set the
  66. starting image of the slide show use the plus and minus buttons to move
  67. through the images.

  69. The star button allows you to adjust the settings of the slide show 
  70. section.  The slide show preferences are located in the lower portion
  71. of the preference screen.

  73. After you have set your starting image and your preferences, click on
  74. the right arrow (between the plus and star buttons) to start the slide
  75. show. Click anywhere on the image to end the slide show.

  77. When you are ready to leave this section, click on the Playboy Bunny icon
  78. in the lower left corner.

  80. In the Screening Room
  81. To scroll through the videos, use the up and down arrows at the top
  82. and bottom of the series of thumbnail images on the left of the 
  83. screen.

  85. When you see a video you wish to view, click on the thumbnail image
  86. and this will start the video.

  88. During play, if you wish to pause the video click on the pause button at
  89. the lower left of the video image. To start it again, click on the play
  90. button.  To move through the video grab the vertical white bar that moves 
  91. below the video.  Move this back and forth to move through the video.

  93. To adjust the volume of the video use the up and down arrows at the lower
  94. right of the video screen. Note: For some Windows users this feature may
  95. not work. In this case, set the volume using the volume control on your
  96. speakers.

  98. To adjust the settings of the screening room, leave this section by clicking
  99. on the Playboy Bunny icon in the lower left corner.  Then enter the slideshow
  100. section and click on the star button.  The video preferences are located in
  101. the top portion of the preference screen.  After you have set your preferences, 
  102. click on the Playboy Bunny icon to exit the slideshow section.  Then re-enter 
  103. the screening room section.

  105. When you are ready to leave this section, click on the Playboy Bunny icon
  106. in the lower left corner.
